MICHELLE RYAN

I am an overall 3D Artist working freelance and in studio for 20 years. I am purely an artist first, and will translate that knowledge into whatever piece of software I'm using. I'm an instructor at Humber College in the 3D Animation program. After showing strong organization and student relation, I became Program Coordinator in the Modelling and VFX program. I teach sculpting, life drawing, anatomy, and production art.

Capabilities include:

Put together a gesture drawing tutorial. https://youtu.be/MtpfEVwq2-E I don't like drawing things 'exactly as I see them' -- I like to play with the pose and push the gesture: more twist, more bend, more stretch. If I can make what's in front of me more interesting, I will try to do it. Every pose is an experiment.   Anyway, I just put this site together as of Jan 2022 and I'm still trying to figure out how code works so this is definitely a work in progress.
